SUN Marangu retreat home is a home for everyone who wants to rest, search himself, celebratesandrecreates or refreshes his mind.
Location
It is located under the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro almost 5 km to KINAPA gate via Marangu route. We are between two water streams that gives you pleasant whisper of flowing magic water of Marangu waterfalls with 27m high falls. We are surrounded by a forest with rich of amazing flora and fauna common and rare spices. As you stay and enjoy nature in our magic garden you will like watching varieties of bird’s species, butterflies and many more with special sounds at night.
We are at equatorial zone that gives conducive and cool climate for acclimatization before mountain climbing.
History
Marangu retreat Home is a premise of sisters of Ushirika wa Neema Moshi. It aims at accommodating people with the interest of resting, meditating, climbing the mountain, camping and hiking.
Groups with various activities like wedding, confirmation, sendoff and birthday celebrations are invited to enjoy the scenery with beautiful flowers and trees.
